Open Hearts Art Center is a nonprofit supportive studio and gallery dedicated to representing and empowering adults with varied abilities to connect to and reach their full potential through the arts.

Open Hearts Art Center is proud to offer a diverse range of programs that use the arts to empower and uplift.

Studio Arts Program: This program offers hands-on art experiences where participants can explore a variety of artistic mediums, from painting and sculpture to mixed media. It fosters creativity, self-expression, and confidence while providing a welcoming space for individuals to discover their artistic voice.

Behavioral Health Day Program: Focused on individuals living with mental health challenges, this program combines creative expression with therapeutic support. It promotes emotional well-being, social engagement, and skill-building, helping participants lead fulfilling and meaningful lives.

Boundless Art Program: The Boundless Art Program allows artists to travel outside the boundaries of the Open Hearts Studio. Artists will be able to visit galleries, attend field trips and art exhibits, attend satellite classes in the community, and volunteer. The opportunities are endless!

Artist Exhibition Program: This program offers artists the opportunity to showcase their work through curated exhibitions. It helps foster professional growth, encourages community engagement, and provides artists with a platform to share their creative journeys.

Supported Employment Program: Open Heart’s Supported Employment Program offers individuals with disabilities the opportunity to gain meaningful work experience in the arts, typically through their own Arts Microenterprise such as creating a Comic Book series and following, becoming a Hired DJ for parties and events, etc.

Community Networking Program: The Community Networking Program aims to connect Open Heart’s population of folks to meaningful community opportunities such as taking classes, volunteering, or joining social clubs.
