2023 REX FOUNDATION GRANTEE
Green Change helps people live sustainably. Our nonprofit climate action network engages, informs, and connects diverse communities to fight climate change. Green Change serves thousands of people in Marin and the Bay Area, building a community of engaged climate champions. We also support over a hundred environmental and community partners, promoting their work to a wider audience.
To help more people take climate action, we offer a wide range of events, content and services about individual and collective actions such as: use clean energy, eat sustainably, electrify your home, ride clean transportation, live lightly, and build healthy communities.
Our main project in 2023 is Earth Day Marin, our annual environmental festival, which will take place on Sunday, April 23, 2023, 1 to 5 p.m., at the Mill Valley Community Center. We expect this to be Marin’s largest Earth Day event! Earth Day Marin will feature fun activities for all ages, art, music, talks, and booths in a beautiful outdoor setting. More than 50 green businesses, sustainability and community groups will host exhibits to inspire participants and help them build a more just and sustainable world.
