2025 REX FOUNDATION GRANT RECIPIENT
The Jamaica Conch Restoration Project’s mission is to grow queen conch for the sake of the species, ecosystem, and people of Jamaica who depend on the fishery.
The Queen Conch Mobile Laboratory is up and running. Currently they are working on increasing the total conch numbers in the hatchery by decreasing the mortality rate.
They are increasing education about this project by personal tours and student tours.
