2025 REX FOUNDATION GRANT RECIPIENT
The Egyptian Foundation for Environmental Rights (EFER) is dedicated to enhancing environmental governance in Egypt by empowering public workers, Law students, and communities.
Through targeted training programs, it aims to equip public sector employees with the skills to monitor and enforce environmental laws effectively. Its initiatives include developing accessible Arabic-language guides on environmental legislation and building collaborations among stakeholders to drive impactful actions.
By strengthening the capacity of those responsible for environmental monitoring, EFER aims to protect individuals’ right to a clean and healthy environment and increase citizens’ climate resilience and literacy.
