T.R.E.E.
2022 REX FOUNDATION GRANTEE
A 501(c)3 since 1996, T.R.E.E.’s mission has been to educate children and adults about the life science processes that govern our planet, to inspire them to appreciate the natural world, and to motivate them to protect it. T.R.E.E. helps children gain a deeper understanding of who and where they are, as they learn valuable and relevant concepts about our world through four comprehensive hands-on science in nature programs. Experienced in the bottomland hardwood swamps and forests of Southeast Louisiana, New Orleans Metro Area children become part of an important story about how the natural world operates and about themselves.
