Our Friend Bill Walton
November 5, 1952 – May 27, 2024

Bill Walton at Grateful Dead show
The four winds are blowing strong for all of us at the Rex Foundation as we reflect on the news of Bill’s passing. Bill was always a true believer in the strength of community and a tireless advocate for issues and people who needed support. He served on the Rex Board of Directors with his typical infectious enthusiasm and was unwavering in his commitment to improving the world. To know Bill was to be embraced by his warmth, generosity, and love for the Grateful Dead and our community.

We send our love to his wife Lori, his sons, Adam, Nathan, Luke and Chris.
