Ama Rogan, Managing Director of 2022 Rex grantee A Studio in the Woods, shares this report:

Much like the forest after a hurricane, we have weathered several storms — both literal and figurative — and have rebounded with new life and energy.

For the first time since the completion of the Writer’s Cabin in early 2020, we have been able to fully utilize our increased capacity, hosting a total of 45 artists and scholars throughout the year — a 50% increase in our programming.

Thank you to each of you who have helped write a part of our story this year – our supporters, artists, scholars, visitors, campers, board members and collaborators!
