DONNA JEAN & THE TRICKSTERSCD RELEASE PARTY Saturday, February 23, 2008 An evening of great music, connections and generous support for the Rex Foundation On Saturday, 2/23, Donna Jean and the Tricksters kicked off their tour with a CD release party, performance, and benefit for the Rex Foundation at the Knitting Factory in New York City. Both the Rex reception and the show were sold out, and the band played – according to all reports – fantastically. The Rex Foundation is pleased that the inspiration for Donna Jean & The Tricksters began at our Black Tie-Dye Ball in New York City on November 12, 2005. As the photographs below illustrate, the event sparked fun connections, while also providing generous proceeds to support the Rex Foundation’s mission. We thank the musicians, fans and event participants for their generosity and enthusiastic support.
