Boston Arts Academy is Boston’s only public high school for the visual and performing arts, serving approximately 415 students whose diversity is reflective of all of Boston’s neighborhoods.  Admission to the school is through an audition process that is academic-blind.  Students engage in over ten hours of arts training weekly in one of the following arts majors: instrumental or vocal music, theatre, dance or visual arts and study a full college preparatory curriculum.  The school graduates students who are holistic thinkers and disciplined, well-trained artist-scholars who are aware of their responsibility to engage in the world.
