Get ready to channel your inner rock star for a good cause. Longtime Rex supporters Cubensis have just announced a Thanksgiving celebration like no other at The Mint in L.A.. First there’s a traditional turkey dinner and family potluck. Then the real fun starts, with music, dancing, and… karaoke?
For a $20 donation, you’ll take the stage in a live performance of your favorite Dead tune, backed by Cubensis. Reports the band’s Craig Marshall: “We’ve had people come up and sing, dance or play an instrument with us for their donation!”
