The Desert Rocks Music Festival is on board the Rex Musical Caravan with $1 for every ticket purchased going to support the Rex Foundation.
Event Bio: After the truly magical blossoming of the 2008 Desert Rocks, which featured headliners Del tha Funky Homosapien, The Derek Trucks Band, Hot Buttered Rum, TLO, New Monsoon, and more, the 2009 Desert Rocks is set to explode into an immaculate array of colors and swirls throughout the starry desert sky. The festival is located at the base of the La Salle mountains in a beautiful remote red rock cliff setting. This Mighty Max style desert party roles on with music playing until sunrise each morning. The energy of the festival pinnacles as the positive vibes of kind spirits from far and wide culminate with the sweet serenading sounds of some of the the most talented musicians in the country. Plenty of shady juniper tree camp sites for all to enjoy and great hotel packages just ten minutes away in Moab. This is a festival experience you don’t want to miss.
