Support Rex!

Jerry Jams for Rex II: Just the latest in a series of generous offerings by many musicians over the years who have contributed their work, in live concerts and then in recordings as well, to help support the Rex Foundation. Who knew that what the Grateful Dead started back in 1983 with those fundraising concerts would grow to involve so many folks pitching in! Pretty wonderful.
These are just the latest among the many artists who have joined forces to help out Rex's work, and we really appreciate their support. We also really appreciate the support of the many folks who help out by buying the fine tunes! Thank you!

The Conscious Alliance
The mission of The Conscious Alliance is to feed America’s hungry through music, art and athletics. This is done by collecting non-perishable food items at concerts, festivals and sporting events. Collaborating with such acts as The String Cheese Incident, The Dead, Bruce Springsteen, Dave Matthews Band, and STS9, as well as the University of Colorado, The Conscious Alliance has distributed 200,000 pounds of food to some of America’s most impoverished people on Indian reservations and in inner cities.

The World As It Could Be
Human Rights Education Program

With the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) as its guide, the Rex Foundation has collaborated with community arts programs and schools since 2006 on The World As It Could Be Human Rights Education Program, using the creative arts to raise awareness about the UDHR and giving participating youth the voice to teach their peers and adults about the importance of the UDHR concepts.
We're delighted to report that the Program's documents curriculum, past presentations, commentaries and more are now available on their own site, TheWorldAsItCouldBe.org.
