Dovetail Learning is home to The Toolbox Project, an award-winning kindergarten-sixth grade curriculum. The name reflects the strength and quality brought to children, teachers, and parents. The work dovetails perfectly with school efforts to foster healthy development and wellbeing for the “whole child” and the entire school community. Toolbox, a K-6 Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum, enhances children’s experience of Self and Other, as well as their ability to learn — by giving them 12 tools (skills) to manage their own resilience, self-mastery and empathy for others.

For the last 22 years, Southern California’s Cubensis has been playing Grateful Dead music across the southwestern U.S. “We try to play Grateful Dead music like they played Grateful Dead music, with spontaneity, passion, determination, honesty, technical prowess, and an exploratory mindset,” says founding member Craig Marshall. “Ideally, we serve the music, and if we’re aware and willing, the music plays the band, as they say.”
